I’m looking into getting a .com domain. I don’t need hosting, and I only want to buy it for one year first to see how things go with it. I don’t want to pay thirty dollars a year for it. I don’t want to use GoDaddy because of all the horror stories, and I don’t want to use Yahoo because they want me to give them my credit card information before they’ll even display a total.

Can anyone recommend me a good registrar with a good reputation, please?

I’ve decided on a particular hosting serivce which charges exorbitant domain name registration fees. I’m wondering if I can save on the domain registration fee by signing up with a cheaper registrar and then transferring it to the hosting service of my choice, and if there are any costs and downsides in this.

Many companies had collected money during 1990.

Name of these companies does not appear in the the trading list.

In fact either their name is Changed or delisted / they woundup or liqidated.

Under the above condition;

(1)what are the benefit a shareholder can have ?

(2) whom he should approach for getting the benefit?

Someone I cannot have any relationship with anymore bought me the domain for my website. I am an author and there has been plenty of hits now on my website, so I don’t want to change it.

Anyone know the process for having the domain transfered into my name from the original purchaser’s?
