You ultimately retains ownership of unregistered domains? When I pay godaddy.com to register my domain who do they pay or how do they obtain possession of the domain for me?
More what I’m wondering… What qualifies godaddy to pull the domain name. Is there some sort of license required?

I intend to use this for my SmugMug account – that way I can have a personal domain to list my pictures.

Any thoughts, ideas, feedback greatly appreciated.

I’m looking for affordable domain registration from a site that accepts the paypal balance and doesn’t require a credit card to back-up the paypal account. Godaddy and other sites accept paypal but require a credit card or debit card. I have neither, but desperately want to register a domain name. Suggestions?
